Refund policy

Mazehost wants you to know the host fits before you commit. We offer a no-questions-asked money-back window on every new hosting plan, with separate windows for shared hosting and VPS that match the infrastructure underneath.

1. Shared hosting · 30 days

New Altus, Grandis, and Magnus shared-hosting plans are refundable for 30 days from the start of the initial term. No questions, no exit interview. Email support@mazehost.com from the address on the account and we issue the refund to the original payment method. Refunds typically show back on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

2. VPS · 14 days

New Altus VPS, Grandis VPS, and Magnus VPS plans are refundable for 14 days from the start of the initial term. The window is shorter than shared because every VPS reserves dedicated CPU, RAM, and disk at provisioning. Fourteen days is enough to verify the machine, test your workload, and decide. After that the resources are yours for the term.

Same process as shared: email support@mazehost.com from the address on the account. We stop the VM, release its resources, and refund the full plan amount to the original payment method.

3. Renewals

Auto-renewal charges are refundable for 72 hours after the renewal invoice is paid, on both shared and VPS plans. Beyond 72 hours, the renewal stands until the end of that renewal term. You can disable auto-renewal at any time from the control panel or by contacting support — this stops the next charge without affecting the current paid term.

4. Domains

Domain registrations and renewals are non-refundable once the registry has accepted the transaction, including the free domain included with Grandis and Magnus plans. This is a registry policy, not ours — once a .com is registered in your name, neither we nor the registrar can reverse the charge.

If you refund a shared-hosting plan within the 30-day window and the free domain has already been registered, the domain remains yours at no additional cost. We push it to a standalone registration under your account so you can manage renewals directly.

5. Add-ons

  • Paid control-panel licenses (Plesk, cPanel) are non-refundable once activated — the license key is already billed to us by the vendor.
  • Paid migrations to third-party platforms (we handle inbound migrations to Mazehost for free; outbound paid migrations handled by request are not) are non-refundable once the work has started.
  • Location surcharges, storage upgrades, and Windows images are part of the plan they're attached to — they refund if the plan itself refunds within its window.

6. How to request a refund

  • Email support@mazehost.com from the email address on the account, or open a ticket from the client area.
  • Tell us which service you want refunded. You don't need to justify it — the policy windows above are the whole test.
  • We confirm the refund by email and reverse the charge to the original payment method. Usually same business day, always within five business days.
  • If you paid via bank transfer or a method that doesn't support reversal, we ask you for payout details and send the refund that way.

7. What we don't refund

  • Accounts terminated for Acceptable Use Policy violations (illegal content, abuse of third-party systems, fraud).
  • Renewal charges more than 72 hours old.
  • Any plan or add-on that has passed its refund window.
  • Time already used on a VPS past the 14-day window. Those resources were reserved for you and can't be reclaimed retroactively.
